Facelift

Facelift surgery, formally called rhytidectomy, is a customized cosmetic procedure designed to remove fine lines and wrinkles from the midface, jowls, and neck. It is often combined with facial fillers or skin treatments to provide enhanced results.

Using incisions on either side of the face that are hidden within the hairline, Dr. Fadhul tightens the facial muscles, tissues, and skin to provide a youthful lift and eliminate wrinkles. General anesthesia is used during the procedure, which will take from two to four hours to complete and is usually on an outpatient basis.

Facelift surgery will improve the following:

• Sagging skin and wrinkles in the midface
• Deep creases below the eyelids
• Wrinkles surrounding the mouth
• Loss of volume in the cheeks
• Sagging jowls
• A double chin
• Sagging skin in the neck

Blepharoplasty

An eyelid lift, formally called blepharoplasty, can be performed on the upper eyelids, lower eyelids, or both to produce a more youthful, alert, and wrinkle-free appearance around the eyes. The incisions are small and well-hidden within the eyelid creases. General anesthesia is used during this outpatient procedure.

Blepharoplasty will improve the following:

• Sagging upper eyelid skin that may impair vision

• Fine lines and wrinkles around the eyes
• Dark circles beneath the eyes

Upper and/or lower eyelid lift surgery is often performed as an adjunct to another procedure, such as facelift surgery or rhinoplasty. The results of blepharoplasty are long lasting but will not stop the natural aging process as time progresses.

Otoplasty

Ear surgery, also called otoplasty, can improve the shape, position, and/or size of the ears and can be performed on children and adults. Natural-looking ears can bring balance to the entire facial appearance and have a profound effect on a person’s self-esteem. The procedure is performed on an outpatient basis under general anesthesia. Incisions are small and are well-hidden within the natural folds of the ears.

Otoplasty can improve the following:

• Protruding ears
• Misshapen ears
• Ears that are too large (macrotia)

Fat Transfer (Face & Lips)

Men and women can experience the advantage of two procedures in one with fat transfer to the face or lips. The procedure begins with liposuction. The patient’s own fat is removed from a troublesome area such as the abdomen or thighs and is then purified and injected into the face or lips to provide youthful volume. Depending on the extent of the liposuction part of the procedure, it may take two to four hours to complete. General anesthesia is used, and patients can return home from surgery the same day.

Fat transfer can improve the following:

• Facial wrinkles
• Facial volume loss
• Sunken or hollow-looking cheeks
• Dark circles beneath the eyes

The liposuction portion of the procedure can take inches off of the donor area, which can lead to better-fitting clothing, a smoother silhouette, and overall firmness in the treated area.
